Museum of Flight

On Saturday we visited the Museum of Flight at Boeing Field. You can pay for a ride in one of these planes! Matthew really, really liked the planes. He was excited the whole trip down to see them.

Here we are standing outside of an old Air Force One plane. We got to go inside this one.

He's riding in the cockpit of a SR-71, the fastest jet in the world.
Here he is piloting an F18.
There was a kid's section that had all sorts of fun exhibits. You could make an airplane roll, pitch and yaw. You could inflate a hot air balloon and more.

This is a great view of the museum atrium. It had so many fun planes!
Look, Grandpa Sinclair! I went into space! Actually, there was a hilarious sign on one of the moon rover exhibits. It said, "No Moon Walking".

We got to see a B-17 take off right in front of us! Apparently, you can get a ride for a ridiculous amounts of money...
We went to a great family-style restaurant after our trip to the museum. The waitress tried to get us to order a ton of food and was surprised when we had so much leftover. Two "small" dishes were enough for five people plus a toddler! Matthew enjoyed making his little souvenir airplane zoom across the table to Grandpa.
