Whistle Lake

Darcelle and I decided to venture outdoors. We packed the kids into the strollers and went on an adventure at Whistle Lake. (The baby backpack is out now that I'm pregnant. sigh. We just bought it too.) We were unprepared in some ways, and it was an odd drive, but it was so peaceful! A little bit of nature is therapeutic when your stressed or your spouse is away. Callie and Matthew are looking at an old growth tree in the forest. The lake was beautiful and clear and sooo quiet. Of course, we made a lot of noise throwing rocks into the lake and playing with echoes. Callie was the best. Her echoes came back with such a sweet little voice.
