Matthew's Superhero Birthday!!

Matthew is five!!!!!! He wanted a Superhero birthday, so we went a bit crazy. Daddy came home from a TDY just to star as a Master Villian for the birthday. In the first picture, Matthew and Abby were dressing up as Matthew's current favorite superhero (and radioactive spider.) Here are the decorations.

The Batcave

As the kids came in they played with Matthew's Batman toys on the floor. Believe it or not, they were actually occupied for a while as we waited for everyone to get there.

The Cake (and money in the bank)

This is the Gotham City Bank. We have information that some nefarious criminals are planning to rob the bank. After Superhero training, we will be ready to foil their evil plot! To the Superhero Academy!

Limber Lasers. Don't touch the string or the bells will ring!

Chase-A-Villian Obstacle Course. Slide, Tunnel, Spin, and Leap buildings in a single bound!

We found another clue by a penguin. (Batgirl is holding it.) The Penguin!!!

After the criminals promised to reform, we all ate cake. Singing Happy Birthday. Love his smile!

One family stayed after everyone left to play xbox and try out Matthew's new spidey web-slinging toy. Matthew and Austin sprayed the bad guys.
