Santa came early...

Santa knew that we would be out of town with limited luggage space for Christmas, so he graciously came to our house early!!! Matthew got an aircraft carrier. :) The kids also opened their gifts from Nana and Papa and Gran. They got to choose one to bring with us on the airplane.

I love to watch them open their gifts. Unqualified joy is so fun to see! Santa's early visit made it later hilarious to watch them interact with others we met on our trip. People always ask children what they want Santa to bring them. Matthew would always say, "He brought me an aircraft carrier", thereby confusing everyone. But, it is not Christmas yet??? :)
