Old West Town & Burros!

We went to the store on our way to Oatman and poor Abby got scared of her slippers. :(

This is a pioneer town in Oatman, AZ. The burros run free and love to eat carrots. They are actually a bit grabby, so guard your bag of food! Matthew was freaked out and thought they were doggies that would bite him. I told Matthew that he was not a carrot and had nothing to fear from the burros. For the rest of the day we wandered around saying, "I am not a carrot." and Matthew did touch one eventually.

Abby had a nasty cold, so she spent much of her time in the stroller.

Apparently, animal rights activists have tried to outlaw feeding burros because they say the burros are too fat. The townspeople disagree and said that none have died from eating carrots all day, and the burros are fine.

Laughlin is the city Grandpa and Ella were visiting (between Phoenix and Las Vegas). We had dinner there and went home!
