Surgery Day

March 16 was a big day for Abby! She did not have anything to eat since 11pm the night before, and showed up bright and early in the hospital for her g-tube surgery. They gave her a pants and shirt outfit to wear....but she fit into the shirt sort of - as a dress! :) We took pictures b/c she was so cute.

Abby weighed 8lbs. 6 oz. on Friday, March 13. The surgery was quick, only 30 minutes, and then we got to go and see her. She did NOT like the surgery, but her recovery has gone really, really well.

We feed her by mouth as much as possible, and then put the rest down the tube. She really likes the tube, so the feedings are going well. On Friday, March 20, Abby weighed 9 lbs. 1 oz. She is starting to grow finally!
